Within Poland area there is required valid driver’s licence issued by:

Switzerland, the country belonging to the European Union or the country being the member of EFTA (European Free Trade Association)

the country being contracting party to the Convention on Road Traffic done at Vienna on 8 November 1968
-
a country not mentioned above but whose driver’s licence pattern is in accordance to the one required in the Convention (see article 41 and annex 6).
Holders of driving permits not fulfilling above regulations, particularly the ones issued by the USA or Australia, are obliged to have international driver’s licence.
